About the Author

Mark Graber has been writing children stories for 18 years, ever since his own children were little. In 1989, he teamed up with his brother, Jack Graber, to create "A Raindrop's Journey," a children's book with an environmental theme that was commissioned by Owens Corning. The book, written by Mark and illustrated by Jack, was published in English, Spanish and French and distributed in several countries throughout the world. In 1995, "A Raindrop's Journey" took home "The Betsy" (best in show) at the NORI Awards sponsored by the Ad Club Association of Professional Communicators in Albany, New York.

In 2000, Mark wrote "The Big Green Meadow," also commissioned by Owens Corning, to remind young people about the importance of protecting and appreciating our vital natural resources. The books have been included in the libraries of many elementary schools and Mark has been invited to speak and read the books in the classrooms of many of these schools.
